I was wondering if someone could tell me some good exersizes/workouts to help me improve my game with the equipment i have.

I don't have that much workout equipment except for a pair of dumbbells and a treadmill.

  1. go to a court and run suicides.....that helps your foot work......if u dont know HOW to run a suicide......

start at the fence on the left side of one half the court.......

run to the doubles line and touch it and run back.then run to the next line and back....then to the service line and back.....then to the other line and back...etc....do that as fast as u can......dont cheat by touching the lines when u go there.u hav to sprint though.or at least go a little harder then jogging.....

  2. That's more than enough to have some good work out exercise.  The treadmill obviously can be used to do some cardio exercise.  Do some running with the treadmill.  That will improve your endurance.

Depends on the weights of the dumbbells, you could do some standard bicep, wrist, forearm, and shoulder strenghtening exercise.  Also, one thing I found very useful is if you have a light weight dumbbell like 5 lbs or less, you could practice your serve motion using a light weight dumbbell.  Good luck with your work out :)

  3. if you wanna improve strength for tennis you can do "flys" with your dumbbells.  They will help build strength in you chest which is where you generate most of your power.  Bench press is also another way to improve chest strength (you can also use your dumbells for this)  for proper form google "chest exercises" there are to many sites to count and they are all fine.

  4. You don't need any equipment to do some good exercises.  Just play a lot.
