Exhaust cutout for 95 z28??????

Question

I want to put the mr gasket cable oppereated cutout on my 95 lt1 camaro. i soon will be getting pacesetter quick trips lt header with a magnaflow exhaust. my only question is the cutout in 2" in diameter. the headers are 3" and i think the exhaust is 2.5". Can this cutout work on my car????? If soo how would i but it on? I have a pacesetter off road y pipe without a cat.

dont get the cable operated cutouts,they are pieces of ****.too much work to hook up. get the kind that the you unbolt the cover

I've being working on cars 40 years, when it comes to exhaust,i just take it to the muffler shop, you should too.
