Existence of glass pillars in US Capitol building? Consipracy to overthrow U.S.????

Question

I have been told that visitors have noticed large, daunting glass pillars throughout the rotunda of the US Capitol building within the past six months.

I did a google image search and found a couple snapshots visitors have taken that show the colums when the light hits them right.

They are totally clear - designed to be invisible to visitors but they apparently contain materials that will be activated soon and will overthrow the U.S.

I am freaking out.

Can anyone explain this please??!?!

Nothing made of glass is totally invisible, certainly not cylinders which optically distort the view like lenses.  And what imagination it takes to overthrow the US with glass cylinders in the Capitol, which doesn't even have all of Congress' office buildings should be put to work on something real - like air pollution.
