Exothermic and Endothermic PLEASE HELP assignment due tomorrow ?

Question

now we have been doing this assignment for a week now and i dont no if

it is endothermic or exothermic.

We mixed zinc powder into copper sulfate and the temperature increased by 5 degrees

if the temp of the solution INCREASED, then it has gained it and is therefore endothermic

Exo - means gives out, think of using an exit to go out of a room

End - means takes in so you would go in to a room using the entrance

The temperature increased by 5 degrees, so heat was given out........that means it's exothermic
