Exotic Short Haired Kitten home by herself?

Hello Everyone! Two days ago, I got my new kitten. She's an exotic short haired, I was wondering if it's ok that I leave her home in our guest bedroom(where her food/water/litter box/toys/bed/scratching post are..) from 7:30-5:30 while I'm @ work! I left the radio on for her so that she doesn't get scared or cry the entire time!!! Do you think she'll be ok?

Actually, she is better off confined to the guest room than having the run of the house.  She will feel much more safe and secure having a small area, rather than a big, possibly overwhelming house.  She'll probably do a lot of sleeping during the day, so expect to entertain her when you get home!

she'll be fine. Saturday i left my kitten home from about 10 a.m. to 9 a.m. when my sister got home (she was at warped tour) she said that the cat just got up!

Cats are very self-sufficient animals. She should be fine.
