Expanding (x+h)^3 (and now to insert 20 characters because it's making me tralala...)?

oh dear :S i've totally forgotten how to expand indices over 2! :O

i was half way through a differentiation problem and then... mind blank!

please help :)

i know it involves pascal's triange...

  1. You can easily use the formula (a+b)^3 = (a^3) + 3(a^2)b + 3a(b^2) + (b^3).


  2. (x+h)^3 = x^3+3x^2h+3xh^2+h^3
