I hear by Greeks diferent "scientist"studies, how we Macedonians are Bulagarians, Mongolians, Slavs, but I don't see that we are like Serbians, Bulagarians or Russians, or like others slavs, we look more like people from Welsh or like Celtic, I don't know why?!I sow one link by Greek anntopologist who has whole study and ignore Macedonian naciton. So, what about Slavs people? They are all same?

  1. I've never visited Macedonnia & have only been to Bulgaria twice.  Macedonia, Bulgaria, Romania & other Black Sea countries were on the ancient migration path from the Mid East to Europe.  Predominate Y haplogroups in Macedonia are E, I, J, & R.  The E clades are (more than 30 % of the population)  common to Norway & appear to be the founding population of many NorthWestern European countries.

Most of the countries on the Mare ***** Route are a mixture of the groups that migrated through these countries & all contain some Roman DNA.  Thoracians were a major influence on early tribes in that area & make up most of the Bulgarian populatin.  Modern Bulgaria is made up of Bulgarians (about 80%), Turks & Gypsies.

If I've failed to answer your question properly, do an edit & tell me what you are looking for.  I'm from the US but spent lots of the 60s & 70s in Romania & other countries in the old USSR.

  2. Hi

can y give me the link from the Greek anthropologist.

    Whats his name?

    Thank you.

Some Slavs looks like Celtic because they are Celtics,

in fact many Thraciens are livin outside from Greece,

in this case now they are called with the term Slav too.

Thraciens are a Celtic race with Minoan influence.

The Illyrians also at most a Celtic race.
