The representative of the former Pescara youngster has remarked that the weight of expectation from the Azzurrini would spur him on to achieve greatness at the club.
Walter Mazzarri held a press conference yesterday from Napoli’s training base, where he stated that the squad’s young stars would be given ample opportunity to make their mark on the team.
However, the coach stated that the onus was on the players to seize the opportunity handed out to them.
Insigne is currently with the Partenopei squad who are at their pre season training base, preparing hard for their upcoming season. The Napoli head coach also stated that the players need to step up to the next level to be a regular

Asked whether there was a burden on the shoulder of the young star to perform above and beyond his years, and how it affected him, the agent replied that his client took this in a positive light and was not overwhelmed by the task

Furthermore, he went on to state that the midfielder acknowledges the fact that he will not be dropped straight into the squad as Napoli is filled with quality stars, remarking:
“Insigne has shown he has the capability to perform and people obviously are expecting his characteristics to be shown at Napoli. This expectation does not mean that he is being asked to provide something different to what he is
capable of.”
