  1. Leah is a pretty name.  Have you thought of a longer name to go with Smith?  Have you thought of Louella, Leonor, Edwina or Ellenor?  Second names for these longer names could also include short names: Jane,Cate,Mary or Clare.  There is also nothing wrong with these as first names.
      Second names for Leah:
Arabella, Clementine, Clemency, Georgiana or Victoria.
There are so many.  Importantly, choose a name that will suit her as an adult and consider a name with a family conection.  Give her a name that won't hold her back by having to spell it to people always, or that won't keep her an eternal little girl, low down on the corporate ladder.

  2. Louis (always pronounced Louee, in the royal fashion) It is a more up market and less common than Luke.  Second name..if your surname is Smith then a longer middle name would suit better I think.  How about Sebastian, Edmund, Alexander, Augustus or William.  It is nice to have a reason for choosing the second name.  Do you have an interesting family name that would go well?  It could be a surname even?  What about Sutherland or Hardwick?  Do you have a lovely male relative whom you would be proud for Louis to share a name?  What about a meaningful place name?  What is dear to you?  Make a list and choose your favourite two.  Maybe when Louis is born the obvious second name will leap out at you.  Good luck with baby Louis.
