  1. No, they can't.

What you need is to have your folks (or you) write an official letter coming from your homeschool (just give your school a name) requesting your cumulative file.

    For example:

    To Whom It May Concern:

So-and-so has been enrolled at Name-Your-School.   Please forward his/her cumulative file to the school at the address below.

    Sincerely,

    Mom/Dad's Name

    Principal

    All the best.

  2. I can't see how they could legally, but you never know if people are going to be jerks. If you have any problems contact the Home School Legal Defense Association http://www.hslda.org

  3. Your highschool transcripts are yours and the school you previously attended does not have any say to hold your transcripts. I left school 12 years ago and recently obtained my records

  4. No, they can't.  If your parents request it (or your umbrella school does), they have to send it.

Legally, it is yours.  I recently requested my high school transcript from close to 20 years ago, and they sent it without batting an eye.
