Expensive tredmills vs cheap tredmills?

what are some differences between an expensive tredmill and a cheap tredmill?

If you are looking to just walk on your treadmill I suggest you buy a cheap one. If you are going to be running on it you would want a nicer one. The cheap ones tend to not work as well when you run.

The expensive treadmills have a bigger, quieter motor that will last much longer if running at a hard pace.  The more exp. ones also have much more cushioning and will give more to your running style causing less leg injuries.  They also tend to be wider so you won't step off on the sides while running.  Pay attention to the ones at the gym, they are usually really nice unlike the cheap ones you'll find at like Walmart for $300.  If really interested in one I wouldn't get anything less then $800-$1000, they will be good enough to train on but yet won't kill you price wise (ones in gym are approx. $3K or more)
