  1. Buen Dia,

I know of three US universities that have aviation programs:

    University of North Dakota

    Oklahoma University

    Embry-Riddle University

Do a search on their websites and see if they have international scholarships.

  2. My mother's boyfriend is a retired commercial pilot and now is a flight instructor. After 9/11, his school has had a hard time getting visas for foreign students (the students are mostly from Japan). I do not know of scholarships but perhaps others do. One obstacle I have noticed the Japanese students have is understand what the pilots and control tower are saying. The quality of the audio is poor sometimes. They tape record it and listen to it over and over. Even I, native speaker, have trouble sometimes understanding what is said when the audio quality is that bad. I am not sure if you will have trouble too but if you can listen to the control tower communications, it would be good practice.

  3. I go to Embry-Riddle and it is a great school.
