Experience???

Im going to audition for this movie but do i need to have experience?? help plz?? need info??

if it's a half major to major part i would say Yes. at least in theatre or something. i mean if you got it you got it, but experience cant hurt

well what do you need help with.

Like do you want to know what usually happens when you go for an audition?

One thing I can tell you when your going in for an audition you must be able to memorize at least 3 to 5 lines in less that 10min. When auditioning for a movie, play, commercial, what ever. You need to give a lot of emotion into the first few lines because really if you s***w up on that first like and do great on the rest. The chances of a casting director choosing you is slim to none.

But I do advise you to start taking some acting classes if you want to become a serious actor.

When auditioning they may ask you too do an improve or they will give a script and expect you to memorize it. That's why I was saying its very important to have a good memory because they may only give you a short amount of time to memorize a certain amount of lines. Which can be hard sometime because you have to memorize the lines and give great emotion.

Everyone has to start somewhere. You'll always have to have that first audition with no experience. I say..GO and give it your best shot!

If you are a trulely good actress, then you will get the part in the movie, but if you don't, and you really want to be an actress then don't give up,

keep on trying to make your dreams come true :-)

They could make you do some improv - which is making up like a skit on the spot :] that's what most people have trouble with.

Experience definately helps, but what do you have to lose?

If you don't get the part, you'll get the audition experience!

Well, I'm not an expert but I believe it depends on what you are auditioning for.

I've been an "add" for movies before and didn't need any experience.. Of course, I just said like 2 words during the movie....lol
