Anyone use them for divination? How do they work? Are they effective? How is it in comparison with the Tarot?

They don't work the same way that tarot does.  They are a language and they are used for writing.  When you cast them you are recieving a message.  The question is from whom.  You may want to experiment and see what you think.  The tarot is a bit different.

They work in the same way that Tarot does, you just read them differently.  

They run on the same rules that all magic does, if you doubt them, you disable them.

I really can't answer that yet.  I am just getting into them. I have used the tarot for about four years now and I love it. I also getting into the pendulum.
