Question:

Experience with the 5 year MBA program?

I'm a rising senior this year and I am really getting down to picking out a college. I am very, very interested in business as well as the business aspects of music production. I know that I will be majoring in Business (not sure whether accounting or finance, but I assume once I take a class of each, I'll have a better idea), and I have recently been looking in to the 5 year MBA programs that many schools across the nation offer. Is it worth it? I mean, of course, money- and time-wise this seems like the best option. But does it give you the preparation that the 2 year master's course would?

I am a pretty serious student and apply myself at whatever I do. I'd like to enter the world with as much experience and outlook possible.

Also, I know it's a little bit off the topic of this question, but what are some of the titles that you hold, if you are with an MBA? And apparently MBA holders are highest paid in the US -- fact or fiction?

Thank you so much and I look forward to your answers!

  1. As you like to get into business a management graduation of three years is good enough.

If you are looking for job, integrated 5 or 4 year MBA is helpful.

The salary is always for a person not for his qualification.  Good people take up MBA, then they will get good salaries.
