I am getting two sugar gliders...a male and a female. And i dont know whether or not to get the male neutered.

I have heard that the Joeys are A LOT of work...and that they wont survive sometimes.

If i do not get it neutured will they have babies ALL the time?? i mean....i would just want them to have joeys like once.....so would i let them have a joey..and then go get the male nuetered..

or should i just get it duetured to begin with. those of you who have had joeys..are they fun and easy to care for..or no?

  1. Yes they will just have babies every chance they get. And if the male isn't neutered he will want to mate with your female ALL the time...Even when she doesn't. Plus if something were to happen to the female the male could get so depressed he will start to hurt himself. Even eat his own limbs. Plus there are already too many unwanted Gliders you shouldn't add to the large amount of unwanted ones.
