Experienced with gaiting? What does it look like he's doing?

Question

To all the wonderful gaiting experts out there, please, take a look at the picture and tell me what gait he is doing here. I know he's not racking and I *think* I know what he's doing, but I'd like to be sure. I know it's hard to do from a picture. I appreciate the try!!!

hello, how r u today i heard bout ur question and i show rackin horses im only 15 so u dnt have to beleive me but i kno alot about horses i grew up around horse farms so i m very familar with them.Ur horse is very beautiful but he isnt pacing bc pacing the legs on the same side wld move at the same time and its not rackin.I think its just a runnin walk.I have a twh hes great he shows well so i hope i helped u with ur question.thx

The horse is foxtrotting.

A problem with gaited horses is some tend to be 'trotty' and others can be 'pacey'.  They don't seem to be able to decide on one or the other.  Correctiion can sometimes be as easy as more or less collection.

lol maybe pacing? it looks more like a fox trot in a way so I would have to say pacing.

it is almost identical to yours and guess What  He's a Tennessee Walking horse!

TWH's and Foxtroters are almost identical in there movements they jsut have a slightly diffrent speed in footfall and movement of the legs.

edit-  Thank you his name is Tequila Sunrise and i was doing a Breed demo with him at a Retirment Horse Farm.  Althogh his history is sketchy we believe he was an abuse Carrige horse becasue, he has tons of natural action,  to large scars on his hind pasterns, and old sore marks(now in the shape of white fur) all down his back possibly caused by back bands or a tail set harness.  Plus when we recently did a demo there where carrages there and he flipped out around him when he is normally bomb proof at other demos with out carts.

I think the running walk. Cuz it looks like hes trotting in the front and walking in the back. Or maybe the fox trot.
