Experiencing the paranormal? how?

I love paranormal phenomena and have pretty much based my life on it but...I for once want to be on the other end of the story and experience the paranormal. Seances are failures with me. I am really just asking if there is any way to induce paranormal activity. Like any way to speak to spirits, calling upon extraterrestrials to whisk me away. Really I'm just tired of reading about adventure and not taking part in it. Does anybody have any suggestions? Like do ouiji boards really work?

Let's see, first of all I have been doing paranormal research for 6 years now and I have experienced nothing, really. My favorite author has been doing it for 30 years and has seen only 2 ghosts. So, I think that when it's time to happen, it will happen, like all things. Putting yourself out there is key, however. Also, stay away from Ouija boards. They are nothing but bad news. They are pretty much like inviting something negative into your home.

I truly don'tunderstand why you would want to experience what we experience.  But I will help you all that I can.  First if you want to get a spirit attracted to you you have to open yourself up.(which you seem an already open person which is good)  Practice opening you psychic abilities before you go onto spirits.  Like get a deck of cards and put your hands on each card and feel the number.  Then once you practice more things like that and related to psychic abilities I'm sure youll become colorful to the spirits.  Then you might have some come to you.  When they do make sure you are very open and in tune with them.  Then just sit quietly and pick up anything you get from it.  Talk to it, anything.  Dont be afraid of it.  That's not always easy but it can be done.  (My grandma (SC) helped me over come most of my fears with the spirits and such.)  Maybe someone in your family could too if they have the understanding and compassion you need.  Maybe you have someone in your family who is in tune with them.  Then they could really help you.  That's all I know.  But I do know anyone can open there sixth sense.  Take care and god bless.

Using a Ouija board to have an experience is like taking poison to know what a stomach ache feels like.

Meditate, meditate, meditate. Then read up on your subject of interest. You'll get where you're going.

You should consider simpler more obvious reasons for your lack of paranormal encounters.Have you ever considered the possibility it doesn't exist?Nah,where's the adventure in that?

There's plenty of wonder and adventure in the world.There's also silliness and superstition.Too many are confused about what's real and what's not.I feel sorry for people who surf the net looking for paranormal adventure.They'll never find it and could miss out on some really great experiences.

Please please stay away from the ouiji board!!! they are dangerous!! And be careful what you ask for. You could invite trouble!! Bad things seek out ppl like you, who are so open to wanting an "experience". You could get much more than you bargained for. If you are really interested, try approaching from a more scientific stance Join a ghost investigators team, and learn how to use the epuiptment. Its a much safer way to have an experience. you do not have to be pyscic to have an experience and your not opening your self up for something you know nothing about. Fooling around with the spirit world can be dangerous. I speak from experience. I am a sensitive, I am used to the spirit world, but even I have had some terrifying experiences and had to seek help from ppl more knowledgable and stronger than me. Explore your interests, just be very careful. Good luck and keep safe

I naturally have spirits attached to me. You can try going to sites like old victorian homes that people have died in to find spirits. You can try visiting old grave sites. Spirits usually dwell at places where they died or where their bodies are. Just go to sites like that and spirits may come to you. I do not know why spirits are naturally drawn to me. I hope you have an experience to report to us!

Join a local paranormal team. There will never be a definite, it either happens or it doesn't. I am 27, I had only one paranormal experience in my entire life.

I can go back to place of my experience any time, its a friend's house. It was actually a former w***e house in Opelousas, LA. Supposedly a man was murdered on the land, police never found the body. I found all of this out after my experience.

The more you chase an experience the more likely you get a bad one.  Stay away from ouija boards they are like opening a door on the side of a volcano.  Bad idea.

Please don't base your life on this you will be better off living in the light rather than seeking sahadows.
