I have a variation.

I believe there are a few states of being.

Mental states are only your ability to deal with the presense of other dimensions.

One is Anxiety - sensing, at times another dimension and it is not welcome. You cant wait to get back to normal.

Schizo-Being in two dimensions at the same time -You may not even know it.

Drug state- able to puposely enter other dimensions temporarily. Very aware what you did and where you are at the monment and aware it is temporary.

Schizotypy is a condition that causes people to have hallucinations, magical thought, disorganized thought pattern, introverted asocial behavior, and non-comformity to social norms.

Some very brilliant people suffer from this.

Dont know what you mean by harnessing the fruits of it?

I thought we did harness the fruits of it with people like atist Van Goh, and mathematician Pythagorus.

What does this have to do with other dimensions?

Noone can exist in other dimensions, our senses only work in 3D. Are you talking about parallel planes of existance? Is this some kind of new age mumbo jumbo twist on a classic mental disorder?
