  1. What? That move is illegal. Your opponent cannot activate Quick Spells from his/her hand during your turn. So basically your Laquari would have made a successful attack and your opponent couldn't have activated Book of Moon.

    Ruling for Quick Play Spells:

Quick-Play Spell Cards may be activated from your hand during your turn; they CANNOT be activated from your hand during your opponents turn. You may also chain Quick-Play Spell Cards to cards that your opponent activates during any phase of your turn and, provided that they are face-down on the field, during your opponent's turn. Quick-Play Spell Cards cannot be activated on the same turn they are Set (This goes for ones Set during your turn, as well as during your opponent's turn, such as by the effect of Dust Tornado)

  2. i think this is right, since book of moon placed gladiator beast in face down defence position, its effect does not activate, so it would remain there until your next turn (if it survived an opponents attack)

(its an illegal move you know.......)
