  1. Your best bet is eBay but I think you'd be lucky to get £50 for it if there are similar going for less.

Electrical goods lose value very quickly and as you've already stated, yours is old and slow.

If you put it on as spare I doubt you'd even get £ 50 for it.

as an example, just went on to ebay and there are 3 1.6 Ghz Thinkpads that are currently priced from £ 30 to 50

  2. Just put it on auction on eBay, and put a reserve on it. It's your best chance to get most out of it. I think you should easily get your 50 quid for it.

  3. start an auction on ebay for $100 us and wright down on there most the specs except for the bios version the registered key etc most ppl wont even read it and or are to stupid to understand it

  4. 255MB memory so you are telling me that you can't put more than a demo version of a software in it. it's really old i don't know ifu will beable to sell it for 100 bucks

  5. Second hand PC's and Laptops other than Apple Macs have a very very low reasale Value, Particularly when my watch has more memory and processing power than the laptop.

Sorry but how about 50 pence!! its worth more as scrap for its components.

anything LESS than a Centrino is worth NOTHING!

and even they are  around £100 max at one year and £50 at 2 years then around £25 at 3.. get the picture..

old Macs sell for at-least £150 with 1 yr old iMac selling for £550 -750..

thats why macs are so good and investment they have a second hand value.
