Experts Only!!! IS a business that does conversations economically viable.?

I posted this question before...and received responses that ranged for pure talking points...for the oil industry to serious misconceptions on conversations.

I am really thinking this could be a good investment to offer citizens the ability to convert their everyday car to gas/electric.

Converting a car to an alternate fuel source is very viable. It is only here in the US that lags the technology or the frequent practice of it. Developing nations the average citizens are infamous for changing their car in many ways.

Here is a video of California doing it for 8000 dollars on average.

Answer the question only if you have knowledge in it. If you travel overseas and scene. Can the cost be brought down to a few thousand it was done by a garage? I would like to pen a garage that does conversations.

Conversion from using gas to electricity using batteries is viable, but lowering the cost from around 8 to 12 thousand is not.

Ok, why the sneaky way for people to view McCain's wife, who is so much a breath of fresh air compared to Obama's, who hated America until her husband got nominated.

70 mile range is not enough. Those cars have some 25 batteries. SO, until better batteries are built, only for the rich and idle.

I know that i'm probably wasting your time, but I would LOVE to see more conversion garges open. I know that there is a place that sells the kits for 2,ooo to 6,000 depending on what kind of power you want. I really want to convert to electric but I don't know how and there are no grages in my area that do it. With gas prices going sky high I don't understand why more people are not getting in to this as a business. If you have the knowledge already I say GO FOR IT!!!  Threre are small  business loans out there geared to "Green companies" look it up on the web and get the backing. Also Revenerd Gadget has been doing conversions on vehicles for years in Southern California. He did Cheech Marion and Anthony Cetis (red hot chili peppers singer) vehicles.

why spend $6000 to save $3000?  Besides, when you convert to electric you pollute the air twice as much because the car now runs on coal, not gasoline.

I think you are asking about conversion of gasoline cars to electric or to other fuels.

First, it is possible to convert a gasoline car to, say, natural gas.  Many taxis in North America have done this conversion, and typically is feasible for high mileage users.  Also, one would need to have fuelling stations that provide liquefied or compressed natural gas.

Conversion of gasoline car to electric is not so simple.  Essentially one has to replace the internal combustion engine with an electric motor and a bank of batteries.  

The reason why some citizens in less developed countries can modify their cars to burn other fuels is because such countries probably don't have a lot of safety standards.
