Experts believe Josh Hamilton is not a risk for Los Angeles Angels – MLB Special
Josh Hamilton has recently signed with the Los Angeles Angels but as his signing happened, speculations mounted that his arrival might turn out a bigger risk for the South Los Angeles Angels baseball franchise.
However, some experts have rejected all these baseless claims that Hamilton will prove a risk for the Los Angeles Angels. These experts believe that Josh Hamilton is a dependable individual and will play his active role in the next Major League Baseball
season.
Josh Hamilton last played for the Texas Rangers where he was also playing since 2008. During his five-year Major League Baseball career so far, Hamilton has achieved many acclaims.
His career hitting average is consistent at .304 along with 161 home runs, 553 RBIs and .363 OBP. His last season’s batting average was also consistent at .285 along with 43 home runs, 128 RBIs and .354 OBP.
Looking at his last season’s performances and his overall career hitting prowess, the Angels decided to land him in their roster. Hamilton’s free agency also helped the Los Angeles Angels to offer him a lucrative deal of $125 million.
As soon as Hamilton signed with the Angels, the Texas Rangers’ general manager Jon Daniels said for his new beginning, "Our full expectation was that the phone call was going to be before he signed, certainly not after giving us an idea, I thought we had
additional conversations this week that had moved it along in positive direction, Apparently not.”
He added with more detail, “It's business and everybody has to make their own calls, and he has a family to look out for. I get it. Josh has done a lot for the organization. The organization has done a lot for Josh -- a lot of things that aren't public and
things of that nature. I'm a little disappointed in how it was handled.”
Experts now call Hamilton and Angels’ new relationship a new challenge not only for both these sides but for other top Major League teams as well. The Angels’ new batting line-up is looking enough capable to lead their side into next season’s playoffs.
