Expired Diet Pepsi?

so i get a 2 liter bottle of soda from a gas station and i go home and open it, and it turns out it expired March 2008.

will it be bad to drink it?

2008? dont drink there is a reason for the expiry date

i think you might be safe.  but l wouldn't drink it with any alcohol, because this might make you drowsey, and too much may cause blackouts and dizziness. however, maybe you should glug it down and follow it with a big bag of potato chips and some curry sauce.

that is not a problem at all, its just probably gonna be flat and not very tasty i would go buy a 20 oz of the same soda and mix it in just to perk up the taste but there is no air in the soda and the acidity in the soda would make it imposible for micro-organisms to live in there

you should return it to the gas station and get it exchanged for a new one - just remember to bring your receipt!

I wouldn't think so.  There is absolutely nothing natural that could go bad in there.
