Please read carefully. Got ticket 06/18/08

Got a parking ticket says I have an expired NY State registration sticker 04/08. I renewed it last Feb. Placed the new sticker on the dash below the old one. Parked the car by the train station. Got back I found a ticket stated expired reg. sticker! New sticker was placed right below on the dash. obviously the cop can see the new registration 04/11.

Since I was on jury duty. I pleaded not guilty. Requested hearing by mail. I photocopy the reg. that showed i renewed it last 02/22/08, took picture of windshield showing the new sticker is right below the old one. I left the old sticker because I can't take it off. Person at emission inspection scrapes with the old sticker with a tool and put the new one for me. My inspection is 09/08. decided to place the new one under it (on dash where cop can see reg.

1 mo+ passed (today) got letter that have to pay fine. Can I appeal this hearing by mail verdict?

Hearing by mail is BS?

  1. The notice you were sent should state your appeal rights. If not, call the office of the clerk of the court. The number should be on the notice.
