  1. It's legal if you have a licenced driver with you in a car, different states have different laws

  2. HELLO

    YES

THE PHOTO PART OF YOUR LICENCE IS IS VALID FOR 10 YEARS

    1)

Driving before your licence is returned

You can drive before you receive your licence as long as you:

have held a Great Britain or Northern Ireland licence issued since 1 January 1976 or another exchangeable licence

    aren't disqualified from driving

haven't been refused a licence for medical reasons or for failing to comply with medical enquiries

wouldn't be refused a licence for medical reasons (if in doubt, check with your doctor)

keep to any special conditions which apply to the licence

  3. if you are not disqualified and have insurance you are ok to drive.

  4. Isn't it wonderful how the Yanks insist on answering what are obviously UK questions -

"HELLO AMERICA. THE DVLA IS IN ENGLAND. YOU HAVE THE DMV!"

Anyway, the answer to your question is yes.

Read JG's answer above - spot on.

  5. No.

  6. All wrong: this is from the DVLAs website (I assume you're renewing your photograph)

  8. i would still drive if nescessary, but technically it IS illegal to drive with an expired liscense.  If you go to the DMV they will renew it and give you a temporary liscense.

  9. No, and if you are stopped you will receive a driving citation for driving for an expired license.

  10. get the bus

  11. in my state if you have a license expired and renewal is in the works you have a  so called grace period of i believe 30 days

after that you really should take trip to  registry and in person get at least a temporary renewed license
