  1. Potency is good only until the expiration date.

It is a good policy not to use expired stuff.  You do not want to use milk or meat that has been sitting in the frig for over 2 week.  It may be good. but why to take a chance for 2-4 bucks?

  2. My friend, a pharmacist, told me that most meds are good for a year after the expiration date...so your Tylenol should be fine since it expired only 3 months ago...

I would, were I you, give the child the med today and get some new Tylenol tomorrow.

  3. toss it.

it will not hurt your child, but it won't help either.

get rid of it and by new stuff.
