Expired foods...At Restaurants?

So I went to a store name Krystal (hamburger store). Most of their food is expired anyways. So when I went there they gave us sauce that was expired on 1/31/08. And plus the sauce said Best By 1/31/08. It was Buffalo sauce. Buffalo sauce is supposed to be spicy. Not really sour and spicy. So then we told the lady nicely and then they started being really ruse to us. Probably because they already have really really bad buisness and they weren't doing good anyways. So then the company called and they told us we cold have a free meal but then my mom was like no thank you because most their food is expired. The expiration date on food products is only a suggested date.  Many foods can be used 3 months past the date.  But, if you are really irritated by it, report them to the food and restaurant health department and suggest they do an inspection on the restaurant.

I would advise you to not eat expired food and no longer patronize restaurants that serve it.

I am not sure what you want.  They offered you another meal, which you don't want and i understand why you wouldn't want to eat there again.  But how do you want anyone to help you?
