Expiremental Variables???

okay my science question is ,"Does Color Affect the Time is Takes Popsicles to Melt? I use popsicles, and plates. WEll basically I put popsicles on a plate then I time it to see how long it would take, then I let it melt and see which one would melt faster does anyone know what the expeirmental variables are please help me!!!!

yes color also affect the time it takes to melt

when brighter colors are used the the thin melts slower

when darker colors are used t melts faster

this is because darker colors are greater absorbers of heat
