In the simplest form, a cabin temperature sensor is a device that changes its electrical resistance with any change in temperature. This resistance change is detected by a controller that signals the hot & cold air valves to maintain a constant selected temperature in the cabin to counter any temperature changes in the outside air.

cabin temp sensor - i want to but i'm from the old school so could you say please & please elaborate, like what do you want to know? the sensor itself? how it works ? Because like any sensor it just get the temp reading in the cabin.
