Can someone explain what this eye-glasses prescription says? what exactly are these numbers?

-6.00 -075 x 145

-6.00 -100 x 070

It is written exactly like that. also, which is left and which is right?

  1. The top line is the right eye...

-6.00 is the myopia correction ( nearsightedness)..the -0.75 is a correction for astigmatism , and it is ground into the lens at 145 degrees.

Then the left works the same way...

But the astigmatism is -1.00 , and it is ground at 70 degrees.

So, both eyes are very close to being the same prescription, with just 0.25 more astigmatism correction on the left.
