  1. Large CPA firms have overseas offices. If a US client has a subsidiary in Australia, all it has to do is get its Australian office to perform the work, be it audit or consultancy. The Australians would know Australian law better than the Americans. However remember that the parent company auditors have ultimate responsibility for the report they sign.
