Explain how sunlight is converted into potential energy by plants?

  1. thats such a complicated question, without saying how far along in your education you are. basically, there are reaction sites in a plant which a photon of light will strike and an electron will be sent around through an electron transport chain to create ATP which the plant then needs to use to "breathe" during the night. something like that.
