AND-How does a hormone only act on just one target organ in the body, or a neurotransmitter only effect another neuron?

  1. easy think of it this way

    just about everything in your body has receptors in which hormones and other things attack...

    now if the shape of the hormone and the shape of the receptor DON'T FIT TOGETHER then nothing's gonna happen

    its because the shapes of the receptors and the hormones/neurotransmitters/whatever- else -the -h**l -your -sticking- in -there are so specific that processes and happenings in your body can be so specific
