As the temp. increases particles gain more kinetic energy ,move faster ,more collisions occur speeding up the rate of the reaction...Rate of the reaction is the change occurring in the products or reactants per unit time..the activation energy is the energy barrier of any reaction ..to begin a reaction you need to have enough energy to overcome this barrier...you can decrease the activation energy using(Transition metal,enzyme),increasing temp. or pressure ( gases)...

    less activation energy means rapid reaction ..
