Explain how water and sugars are moved throughout the plant. Be thorough in your answers. Include a section in which you discuss the symbiotic associations of plants, and the role of the casparian strip in retaining water in the plants tissue.

  1. water is moved only upward through Xylem

    can't find a suitable artical for this one

    food on the other hand goes both upward and downwards through Phloem
