  1. Physical changes of state (e.g. solid to liquid) are reversible.  That is, they change back when the conditions are back to where they were at the beginning.  Some chemical changes are reversible but some are not.  So ask, does the egg go back to its runny state after frying? Therefore it must be...

  2. It is a chemical change, because the very nature of the substances in the egg have been changed.

If in doubt about whether a change is chemical or physical, ask yourself whether or not it can easily be reversed.  If it can't be readily reversed - and you certainly can't 'unfry' an egg - then it's a chemical change.

  3. both chemical and physical change. by heating up the egg, there is chemical change in the state of matter, from semi liquid to semi solid. the physical change is when the egg gets burnt and hence, both chemical and physical change takes place when you are frying an egg.
