  1. drugs are externally adminstrered substances which change metabolic reactions.

all medications are drugs because in order to cure something, the metabolic reactions must change

not all drugs are medication because drugs like morphine and heroin and bad for the health and addictive.

  2. A drug is a chemical that modifies the body in some way.

A medication is a drug that modifies the body in a way that helps it return to normalcy following a physiological challenge.

However, there are chemicals out there that modify the body that are not used in response to physiological challenges, and are used because of certain mental side effects.

  3. K is exactly right.

A medication is a drug, and to say it in a simple way, is because it helps the body in some way.  But medications are to cure.

Drugs can be anything from cocaine to speed to medicine.  But they work in different ways.  Again, medicine is to cure, and drugs like cocaine are to "please" a person in some way.  All drugs are addictive because a person "thinks" it is helping them and so the continue to use that product.

I wish I better at explaining lol but I hope this helps!!  :)
