  1. Another phrase that means about the same thing is "We are all made of stars."  Stars produce all the atoms we see around us.  They start out with hydrogen and fuse it to make helium.  Helium is, in turn, fused to make even larger molecules...and so on.  Eventually you get atoms like carbon and oxygen that are necessary to our lives.

  2.   The main difference is that we have awareness.

  3. This is Zen based philosophy and is based on their belief that we are parts of nature and thus should strive to be balanced in our thoughts as yin & Yang concepts. However I believe in a creator and He, in His word, has put us forward as a unique creation & not of this universe but of something beyond this physical universe in that: we are created for some purpose that is eternal and this universe shall pass away.

  4. we are all made of the same stuff

  5. it would mean, in my opinion, that we are made in nature, we're nothing special as the trees and the stars around the cosmos. So whoever species or object made to exist, we're nothing special in a galactic scale, not even compared to the universe. Like a grain of sand in a desert, nothing special. Even intelligent extraterrestrials wouldnt bother to come or invade an insignificant planet or being in an enormous universe. Hope it Helps.

  6. You are matter and energy, really just energy. Same as everything else.

The result of H and He in the presence of gravity for 13.73bil yrs. With a little randomness for fun.

  7. That's from "Desiderata", which was written by Max Ehrmann and later became a top-10 hit in 1971 as a spoken recording by Les Crane. I haven't heard it in years. I admit that I enjoyed National Lampoon's parody "Deteriorata" a lot more than this ick-fest. Even Les Crane later admitted he was much fonder of the parody than his own recording.
