Explain the chemistry involved in the sense of taste please?

  1. this is really a complicated process. you ought to google  it

    but in taste you have these taste buds, they have chemical receptors so when an substance enters your mouth, say salt, they dissocaite.

    when they're dissocaited, they ions, and can fit into those receptors, and then your taste receptors sense that and sends electrical impulse to your brain saying you taste something salty.

    each receptor only takes in a certain ion.
