For understanding social disorganisation, one should be familiar with the differences between socialism, democracy, communism,nazism, marxism etc. Man as a social animal in a society with longstanding culture as a back bone try to formulate a way to bring his society up among other society and cultures. In such attempts there r both good and bad which bring about disorganisation suddenly or gradually. THERE R LOT OF EXAMPLES IN HISTORY. Russia  broke down (communalism) but china succeeds. fall of berlin(nazism). If u know chaos theory, then u will understand as a whole.
