Explain the difference between a Radiation Therapist, Diagnostic Radiographer and Radiologist? please help?

  1. A radiation therapist uses large doses of radiation to treat cancer patients.

    A diagnostic radiographer (aka x-ray tech, radiologic technologist) takes x-rays.  We can also branch out to CT scans, MRI and mammography, with on the job training.  With additional formal schooling, we can do ultrasound.

    A radiologist is a medical doctor who specializes in interpreting these exams.
