I drive a Honda Accord coupe and I currently have full coverage with GEICO. The car balance is paid in full, there is no lien.

If I change to liability, what does that entail?

  1. Liability is required by law.  It covers the damages you cause to someone else's car & also covers their medical bills in case they're injured.

If you change to liability only, you will not have any coverage on your car if it's damaged in an accident.

  2. liability only takes care of other peoples damage from you. You would get absolutely nothing back no matter what happens.
