  1. Preschool Children (3-5 years old)

Freud (Psychosexual development) - Phallic stage

Erikson (Psychosocial development) - Intiative versus guilt, highly imaginative

Piaget (Cognitive/Moral development) - use of symbols; egocentric

Kohlberg (development of moral reasoning) - Preconventional level, premoral, instrumental orientation

You can look each of those up by themselves, or if you need more info, just contact me.

  2. Also to add to that last person:

Mary Sheridan: she has a book called Birth To Five which shows you all the development stages children go through (in her theory).

Also if you want to see another PoV look up Birth To Three (Sure Start website) and Foundation Stage Curriculum (QCA) as these show you the targets children should be reaching towards in preschool accoridng to English government.
