  1. There are a number of them, but I'll only list one at the moment.  Everybody learns differently, but some ways are determined by the culture that they are from.  If you have a firm understanding of their culture, you will be a more successful teacher.  This has been found to be especially true of Native American students.

  3. One of the most important anthropological concepts is that of ethnocentrism, or the notion that one's own race or culture is superior to others. This is very important considering how much racism and bias there is in the world. If students at a young age can be taught about other cultures and taught that all cultures are equal, there would be a lot less wrong in the world.

  4. teaches you about our world...not just your own society. makes you much more open minded and view why cultures do things from our perspective...and thier own perspective.
