Explain this Romeo & Juliet quote?

It doesn't matter what you're called, you're beautiful.

I think it has to do with the fact that their families hate each other.  He still loves her even with the wrong family's last name.

When she learns Romeo is a Montague, she speaks to herself.. She is saying, if he was not a Montague would he be any different.. It is only his name it's the person she loves..
