A little boy returning home from his first day at school said to his mother, "Mum, what's s*x?"

His mother, who believed in all the most modern educational theories, gave him a detailed explanation, covering all aspects of the tricky subject.

When she had finished, the little lad produced an enrollment form which he had brought home from school and said, "Yes, but how am I going to get all that into this one little square?"

  1. s*x = gender. haha that reminds me of some show i can't remember what it was. but someone ditzy was filling out a form or getting an interview or something and it said "s*x" and they answered, "not yet. just waiting for the right person." LOL

  2. The form needed his gender (m or f) and his parents permission to partake in the subject.

  3. The form was asking him his s*x... male or female. Check a box (square).

  4. He meant what's X? get it? "Mum, what's x? haha! good joke.  math problem x=?

Oh, enrollment form... then it is gender/s*x. sorry.

  5. the only think i can guess is that it was a s*x ed form. that's the only way it makes sense to me...but it's not funny. so maybe that's not the answer.

  6. The form asked s*x as in gender and the mother misunderstood and thought he was talking about the act.

  7. Previous answers explain the point of it, but on another level it's also an example of children's logic -- they see things differently.

I asked my cousin's little boy what age he was. "Four," he replied. "And when will you be five?" I asked. He giggled and said: "On my birthday!!" He was explaining how the system works -- you add on a year on your birthday. If I wanted to know the DATE (which I did) I should have asked: "When is your birthday?"

  8. s*x = M/F

    s*x = Male/ Female
