Explain to me the ways a triangles sides equall 90 and equall 180??? i dont get it?

what do the squares on the triange mean and what do the sort of round things that atach the angles together mean?

if you have a triangle with sides marked a,b,c how do you read each angle?

  1. The triangle with a square is called a right triangle, which means  the square is 90 degrees. But if you add up all 3 sides of the triangle, it is equal to 180. The round things on the angles just mean that they are angles. If you have a triangle, you can mark it which ever side you want as long the b is next to the a and the c is next to the b. It has to be in order a, b , c.


  2. If you have sides marked a,b, and c....you would read the angles by looking at the angle opposite of that side. For example, if you have an isosceles triangle, and the bottom side is side A, the top angle would be angle A. I cannot answer your other questions but i hoped this helped.

Pythagoras figured this out thousands of years ago.Read his thereom.You  can measure the angles with a protractor.The 3 angles will always add up to 180 degrees.Draw a triangle with one angle of ninety deg.(the other angles don`t matter)Draw a square on each side of the triangle.Calculate the area of the 3 squares.Add together the two smaller squares. You will find that this figure is the same as the area of the large square
