Skills-wise, when working in a team we bring to the table some interpersonal (people) skills which allows us to interact and deal with other people. Other skills might be: critical thinking skills which help us analyse the things around us, organisation skills, leadership skills a vital one which allow us to lead others in a team, creative or innovative thinking.

Experience: With age and life comes experience whether little or big. Everyone in a team brings to the table what they know from the moment they were born, some more than others. Some might have worked in a similar field before and can apply their general knowledge to help get the job done etc.
