  1. Perhaps the Chinese, with their Korean ilk, saw a trend after WW2 of US/Western expansion around the world.  This was about markets, and the US had a valid right to protect its interests where they had them.  So another force, China, also wanted to protect its market share and the only way to do this was to drive westerners out of Korea.  Same goes for Vietnam, in my opinion.  Markets.

  2. i would say communist china since they invaded Korea and the US pushed them back

  3. The communist Democratic Peoples' Republic of Korea (North) under Kim il-Sung invaded the democratic Republic of Korea. The DPRK was backed by the Soviets and Chinese, and the RK was backed by the US, Australians, and the UN soldiers.

  4. North Korea was responsible. They invaded the south.

  5. a pigheaded god called the president!!!!!!!

  6. On June 25, 1950, after South Korea refused to void its previous election and hold another one, as per the North Korean's demands, North Korea invaded South Korea.  There were very few US forces in Korea at the time, and the South Korean military was poorly armed and numberically weak.  The North Korean forces drove the join US/South Korean (hereafter referred to as ROK) forces South, taking the capitol, and ending up squeezing the remaining US/ROK forces into a small enclave called the Pusan perimeter.  The British send forces to strengthen the perimeter, and forces began to flow in from the US, as well, at the same time that the UN voted to condemn the attack and to committ forces to pushing the invasion back.  Later, China invaded on the side of North Korea, but the short answer to your question is that the North Korean government was responsible for starting the war.
